Alternative Gifts Fair
The annual shopping event hosted by the First United Methodist Church of Denton will have over 30 booths supporting local and international causes. Vendors will offer artisan crafts from around the world.

Theatre Denton presents “The Mousetrap”
The Point Bank Auditorium at the Historic Campus Theatre will feature Theatre Denton’s production of Agatha Christie’s whodunit, “The Mousetrap.” Evening performances are at 7:30 p.m. with 2 p.m. weekend matinees.
Backyard Chickens
Joann Grope of the Tarrant County Master Gardener Association will host individuals who want to learn how to raise chickens. She will offer information about natural fertilizing, pest control and fresh eggs. For those who miss it, Denton County Agrilife will host a training Nov. 12.
Downtown Denton Mac and Cheese Fest
Head to Oak Street Drafthouse and Cocktail Parlor to start the annual Mac and Cheese Fest crawl with over 25 different macaroni and cheese dishes from local restaurants. The event raises money for Denton ISD lunches.
The Willie Specials: A Tribute to Willie Nelson
Dan’s Silverleaf will host a collective of musicians to honor Willie Nelson. Only standing room tickets, not table reservations, are available at the door.
Turkey Roll Bicycle Rally
The bicycle rally supports community initiatives dedicated to children, local projects and other charitable endeavors through the Denton Breakfast Kiwanis Club. Four routes with distances from 8-62 miles are available with rest stops offering Raising Cane’s and Rudy’s Bar-B-Q.

Craft Beer Crawl
This Downtown Denton Foundation’s fundraising event will stop at several neighborhood beer spots with crafted beers from Denton breweries. There will be a door prize drawing at the end of the afternoon.
Downtown Denton Turkey Trot 5K
The Denton Area Running Club will host the 11th annual turkey trot on Thanksgiving morning, running through Texas Woman’s University and around the Denton Square. There will also be a Gobble Wobble 1k for kids for $15.
Second Annual Santa's Christmas Market
Hart and Guin Photography will host Christmas lovers of all ages for a traditional holiday market with over 40 vendors at Golden Triangle Mall. Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be available.
Denton Holiday Lighting Festival
Head downtown to kick off the holiday season with a tree lighting, photo opportunities, live music, rides, games, crafts, vendors and more at Quakertown Park. The festival of lighting displays and events has been celebrated in Denton since 1988.
Denton Community Chorus Holiday Concert
Visit St. Paul Lutheran Church for an evening of festive songs by European composers and arrangers entitled “European Vacation.” The non-audition group will accept donations for its continued operation.

Breakfast with The Grinch
Stop by the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center for crafts, carnival games and a photo with the Grinch himself. A pancake and sausage breakfast is included with the ticket.
