Northbound traffic will detour west along Scottsdale Drive and north on Weatherred Drive. Southbound lanes between Belt Line Road and Scottsdale Drive will remain open.
The construction is part of the Arterial and Collector Street Rehabilitation Program, which provides maintenance and improvements along major roadways in Richardson, according to a previous city news release.
What else?
Floyd Road between Scottsdale Drive and US 75 is undergoing concrete strength testing, per the news release. If that section of road does not pass, it may lead to additional road closures.
What’s next?
After work on the northbound lanes between Scottsdale Drive and Belt Line Road are complete, construction will move to the northbound lanes between Scottsdale Drive and US 75.
