KLOwen Orthodontic to expand in Richardson IQ following economic incentive with city
KLOwen Orthodontics and the city of Richardson have entered an economic incentive agreement, according to a news release issued by the city.
Currently, the business is located 1900 Firman Drive, Ste. 800, but will move into the Richardson Innovation Quarter, occupying about 25,000 square feet at 1703 N. Plano Road in the Cardinal Park development.
The company develops orthodontic innovations that allow their customers to improve efficiency and reduce stress for the practice and patients, the release said.
Micron Technology to relocate North Texas workforce to Richardson
The city of Richardson has entered an economic development agreement with Micron Technology to relocate its North Texas offices into the Richardson Innovation Quarter, according to a news release from the city.
Micron Technology is an appealing company for Richardson, City Manager Don Magner said, adding that it’s a Fortune 500 company and “highly aligned" with the city’s economic development strategy.
“We’re real excited [Micron Technology] is going to plant a flag in Richardson,” Magner said.
Geico to expand in Richardson with 1,000 new jobs
Geico is expanding with a second office location in Richardson.
With the new location, Geico will add more than 1,000 new jobs to North Texas, according to a news release issued by the company.
The company designated Richardson as its new hub in December, which added 500 new jobs. Since then, the company has experienced "significant growth,” per the release.
Titleist to open fitting center in Richardson
Titleist is opening a fitting center at Richardson’s Sherrill Park Golf Course, Mayor Bob Dubey said during the Richardson 2025 State of the City address.
The fitting center will be the only site Titleist has in North Texas Dubey said, adding that it will also be the only one in the country on a public golf course.
