Collin County

1. Lebanon Road widening in Frisco


Project: Lebanon Road will be widened from a four-lane roadway to a six-lane divided roadway from FM 423 to Todd Drive. Improvements include pavement reconstruction, bridge repair, drainage improvements and street light replacement, among others.

Update: Construction was anticipated to begin in December 2025.

2. US 380 widening


Project: The Texas Department of Transportation is widening US 380 from the Collin County and Denton County line to Loop 288 from four lanes to six lanes.

Update: Traffic switches are ongoing along US 380 as construction progresses.

3. Communications Parkway asphalt overlay in Plano

Project: Crews are working on arterial concrete overlays.

Update: Arterial concrete repairs on Communications Parkway from Legacy Drive wrapped up in December.

4. Championship Parkway at SH 114 in Fort Worth

Project: The work includes adding dual left-turn lanes going northbound and southbound on Championship Parkway, constructing Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant sidewalks and ramps, and reconfiguring the existing travel lane on Championship Parkway.

Update: Construction will start at the end of January.

5. Terminal D at Dallas Fort Worth Airport

Project: The contract includes adding two lanes to the central passenger screening checkpoint, 19 self-service bag drops and 42 self-service check-in kiosks.


Update: Construction started in December and has a 390-day construction window.
