A new dance school is now open in Prosper.

Ako Ballet Dance School offers ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, cheer dance, jazz classes and more. In addition to dance classes, the school offers classes in tumbling, voice chorus, body conditioning, piano, art and Japanese.

Ako Ballet Dance School was founded by Atsuko Minamoto, or Ako, in 2006 in Southern California. Minamoto is an American Ballet Theatre Certified Teacher and has more than 20 years of professional teaching experience.
