Plano officials, developers and real estate partners on Friday declared the long-awaited Legacy West development open for business.

The Legacy West grand opening ceremony preceded a planned weekend of activities open to the public from Friday through Sunday at 5905 Legacy Drive, Plano.

A number of restaurants and stores are already open at Legacy West. When completed, the development will be home to a series of high-profile offices including Toyota's North American headquarters.
