Velvet Taco opened Oct. 12 at 5013 W. Park Blvd., Plano. The Dallas-based restaurant serves more than 20 varieties of globally inspired tacos, such as the spicy tikka chicken, the buffalo chicken and the slow-roasted brisket. It also serves elote-style corn, red curry coconut queso and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
