Sangria Y Cerveza is now open in Plano.

The restaurant's menu features tacos and small Mexican plates with a Mediterranean flavor. Popular choices include tortilla pizzas and the Pachanga Platter. Sangria Y Cerveza also has a selection of frozen drinks, cocktails and beers.

Leyth Kedidi, a company representative, said in an email that finding the location on Windhaven Parkway was a stroke of luck.

“The owners had looked at a couple other venues and then happened upon this space. It was in close proximity to where they live,” Kedidi said. “So they knew the area pretty well and that it needed a place like Sangria Y Cerveza.”
