The retailer provides rentable space for individuals looking to sell apparel, home decor, accessories and more starting at $35 per week. Zach Champlin, the Plano store franchisee, said sellers receive two-thirds of revenues for any items sold at their booth space.
The model differs from a traditional thrift store, Champlin said, because individuals who rent booths have full control over pricing and can also discount items by 25%, 50% or 75%. Booths can also be renewed, and items can be added or taken away from the rented space throughout the rental period.
