The details
At their Dec. 8 meeting, Plano City Council members approved a $2.97 million contract for residential pavement repairs in east Plano.
The project will repair over 27,000 square yards of concrete streets and alleys, 20,000 square feet of sidewalks and 62 ramps, according to city documents. Work will take place in the area bounded by Park Boulevard, Jupiter Road, 18th Street and Shiloh Road.
According to the city’s 2025-26 community investment program adopted earlier this year, construction is expected to begin in early 2026 and wrap up in fall 2028.
Residential pavement repairs are also scheduled to begin in January in the neighborhood directly adjacent to the new project, according to the city’s CIP dashboard.
One more thing
Plano officials also recently approved a $3.31 million contract for residential street repairs in southwest Plano off Ohio Drive and Park Boulevard.
