H-E-B could be coming soon to Plano, Carrollton border

A new H-E-B could be taking shape near west Plano.

The details

Carrollton Planning and Zoning commissioners unanimously approved a zoning change at a Dec. 4 meeting for the proposed H-E-B. The store is planned for the northeast corner of Josey Lane and Parker Road, near the border of Plano and Carrollton.

The proposed 120,000-square-foot location would include curbside pickup, a gas station, a drive-thru pharmacy and a True Texas BBQ restaurant, according to city documents.

Plano’s existing H-E-B is located at Preston Road and Spring Creek Parkway.

What’s next?

The zoning change will go before Carrollton City Council at its Jan. 6 meeting, according to city documents.
