Hotworx opened a new studio at 3194 W. University Drive, Ste. 300, McKinney, next to Crumbl Cookies. The studio opened to the public March 1 but is scheduled to hold its grand opening May 12 with giveaways, vendors and food for anyone wishing to attend.


Hotworx is a fitness studio that uses infrared technology to boost the effects of workouts, including 30-minute isometric workouts or 15-minute high-intensity interval training sessions. Miranda joined Community Impact Newspaper as an editor in August 2017 with the Grapevine/Colleyville/Southlake edition. In 2019 she transitioned to editor for the McKinney edition. Prior to CI, Miranda served as managing editor for The Prosper Press, The Anna-Melissa Tribune and The Van Alstyne Leader, and before that reported and did design for The Herald Democrat, a daily newspaper in Grayson County.
