Barro’s Pizza opened Dec. 1 at 2730 S. Central Expressway, McKinney. The family-owned and -operated restaurant is the first Barro’s Pizza location to open outside of Arizona. Amenities at the restaurant include TVs, a covered patio, a kids area with toys and games and an exclusive room for parties. There are future plans to expand the patio to include an outdoor play area for children with artificial grass and a small playground, spokespeople for the restaurant said.

Barro’s Pizza serves pizza with savory and sweet sauces, fluffy crusts, chicken wings, pasta, salads and subs. The new location also offers beers on draft, bottled beer and wine, and freshly brewed tea as well as offering gluten-free and vegan options. 469-625-2898. www.barrospizza.com
