Mary's Mountain Cookies opened its first Texas location Oct. 23 at 107 W. Louisiana St., McKinney. The store sells freshly baked cookies from the Colorado-based brand, which is known for its soft quarter-pound cookies and other mountain-style treats.

The menu has more than 15 flavors of cookies, all of which are made on location and baked fresh each day, said co-owner Merry Moch. Featured flavors include s'mores, snickerdoodles, salted caramel, turtle and traditional flavors, such as oatmeal raisin and peanut butter.
