Cirrus Aircraft's new facility at McKinney National Airport is the “first of its kind” for the brand, said Bobby Moorehead, executive director at the new location.

The specifics

An open house was hosted for the 50,000-square-foot facility in November after opening earlier this year. Cirrus Aircraft offers a variety of private aviation services including flight training and concierge services, Moorehead said. The new facility enables Cirrus McKinney to expand its operations while providing additional space for aircraft sales, flight training and more, according to its website.

The facility features a flight simulation space, a retail store and more. Cirrus Aircraft officials broke ground on the new facility in 2023.

Moorhead said the new location also offers “Cirrus One” services which are designed for aircraft owners. Facility staff will maintain aircraft stored at the facility and prepare accommodations for private aircraft owners flying out of McKinney National Airport.

“Cirrus of McKinney is the first of this concept and it is a very important part of who Cirrus Aircraft is,” Moorehead said.
