The company, founded by Neelakantha Bhanu Prakash, has offered online math courses since its founding in 2020, a news release states. The company uses “gamified lessons and GenAI-powered tools” to offer personalized and interactive math instruction, the release states.
“Bhanzu encourages curiosity, creative problem-solving and the real-world application of math,” Bhanu Prakash said in the release. “We believe math is not just a subject, but a skill that empowers students to think critically, stay curious and apply logic to the world around them.”
The company has served more than 50,000 students in 18 countries since its founding, Bhanzu’s Head of Business Development Prachotan DL said.
“With over 8,000 learners in the US—15% of whom reside in Texas alone—McKinney is a natural next step in Bhanzu’s journey to deliver foundational excellence to students locally and nationwide,” Prachotan DL said in the release.
The new math center offers a classroom environment for kindergarten-ninth grade students, with hands-on instruction of Bhanzu’s curriculum by teachers.
“We’re excited to now bring our method to life in a physical space and community that has consistently supported our growth, with more US locations to come,” Bhanu Prakash said.
