The Pure Barre franchise in McKinney, which opened in 2015, recently celebrated their 10-year anniversary by providing refreshments, giveaways and raffle prizes for members, said Katy Traczek, lead teacher and media, marketing and events manager for the business.

What they offer

Pure Barre workouts focus on small, controlled movements which often use light weights and other equipment.

“Pure Barre is a low-impact, high-intensity fitness program that combines elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga to provide a full-body workout,” Traczek said in an email.

In addition to Pure Barre Classic, attendees can choose from a variety of class formats, including:
  • Align: focuses on stretching and balance
  • Empower: offers cardio for more calorie burn
  • Define: provides progressive strength training with heavier weights
“Celebrating 10 years of our happy place means everything to us,” Traczek said. “We have 3 studio locations in Allen, McKinney and Prosper, and we feel so fortunate to be a part of these incredible communities and to hopefully have as much of an impact on them as they have on us.”
