Shoppes of Stonebridge to add over 20,000-square-feet of retail space in west McKinney

A retail development is currently under construction in west McKinney.

Shoppes at Stonebridge, an initiative of privately-held real estate firm Banyan, will feature “community-oriented” retailers, including a boutique coffee shop and pediatric dentist, the company’s website states.

DuWest Senior Associate Doyle McAlpin said some tenants are confirmed, including Plunj, a Nordic-style bathhouse featuring hot sauna and cold water plunge, and C3 Wellness Spa, a wellness company which offers massages, acupuncture, and other spa services.

Banyan describes the project as a 20,500-square-foot upscale development which is shadow anchored by H-E-B. Banyan Partner Vivek Sinha said construction is slated to be completed by the end of May.

“Demand at Shoppes at Stonebridge has been overwhelmingly strong, with tenants moving quickly to secure space,” Sinha said in an email. “It’s currently the only newly delivered retail offering at this key intersection.”
