Excellence Academy, an Islamic Montessori school, has started construction on a new campus in McKinney. This campus is slated to open for the 2025-26 school year, a company representative said. Upon completion, the current school on Virginia Parkway will relocate to the new site.

Excellence Academy offers educational programs for preschool through high school students. Islamic studies are provided with the school’s primary and elementary programs.
