The first Dallas-Fort Worth area Broken Yolk Cafe is now open in McKinney, according to a news release.

The details

The 4,000-square-foot restaurant, located in the District 121 development, offers a breakfast and brunch menu. Some menu items include:
  • Omelets
  • Eggs Benedict
  • Breakfast tacos
  • French toast
Broken Yolk Cafe, which has capacity for up to 290 customers, also offers lunch options, including wraps, salads, sandwiches and burgers, according to its website. The restaurant’s menu includes items exclusive to the McKinney location, including tres leches French toast, Texas cobb salad, loaded cheesy cheddar grits and more.

Broken Yolk Cafe offers an “indoor-outdoor” bar, the release stated, serving a variety of beer as well as mimosa and Bloody Mary flights. The location features a 1,500-square-foot patio that is dog-friendly, according to the release.


The McKinney location is the second in Texas for the company, which was founded in 1979 and has over 35 locations across the country.
