COMING SOON: 5 businesses coming to McKinney

Here are five businesses that are coming soon to McKinney.

1. Starbucks is bringing two new locations to McKinney. The first will open at 3651 Virginia Parkway next spring. A Starbucks spokesperson confirmed this location will feature a drive-thru and a patio. The second Starbucks is planned for the corner of US 380 and Hardin Boulevard in McKinney at 1751 N. Hardin Blvd. This cafe is slated to open in summer 2022 and will also feature a drive-thru and patio, the spokesperson said. The Seattle-based coffee company is known for its wide variety of hot and cold espresso drinks, including its frappuccino blended beverages. 2. After opening a coffee museum and gift shop in October, TexaKona Coffee Roasters will open a coffee shop later this year. TexaKona FM: Beverages & Bites is expected to open at 407 E. Louisiana St., Ste. 101, McKinney. The coffee shop will offer 107 drinks as well as pastries and snacks in a music-themed environment as a tribute to vinyl rock. 214-785-5282. www.texakona.com/about-3

3. A new Boot Barn is coming soon to 3190 S. Central Expressway, Ste. 300, at Craig Crossing in McKinney, according to project documents from the state. The state lists the project completion date in March; however, an official opening date has not been announced. The store chain started in 1978 and now has hundreds of locations across the country. The store sells Western shoes and boots, as well as tops, bottoms, outerwear, and accessories for men, women and children. www.bootbarn.com

4. Village Green Alzheimer’s Care Home is readying to open in February at 3149 Medical Center Drive, McKinney. Village Green provides a home environment that allows residents to live with dignity, respect, freedom and choice, a spokesperson said. The community serves seniors with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and other memory impairments. Amenities include open common areas, family-style dining with care partners and team members, private suites, a courtyard, a patio area, and a walking path. 5.
