Construction will be complete in October.[/caption] China-based Hisun Motors Corporation announced May 26 plans to expand the company’s North American headquarters in McKinney, adding more than 44,000 square feet of warehouse space and 10 new jobs within three years. The expansion is scheduled for completion in October. The capital investment equates to more than $4.5 million for real property and business personal property. In a statement, Jason Sun, president of Hisun Motors Corporation, said he is glad the company moved their North American headquarters to McKinney. “Hisun looks forward to the continual partnership with the city as we work to better the community and become an even stronger company moving forward,” Sun said. Hisun, founded in 1988, makes utility-terrain and all-terrain vehicles and first moved to McKinney in 2014. The company’s global headquarters is in Chongqing, China and employs 1,700 people.
