Crews will begin work during the week of Nov. 8 on the Pink Evening Primrose Trail connection in Flower Mound.

This project will add an 8-foot-wide pedestrian bridge over Timber Creek along with about 400 feet of multiuse trail to connect College Parkway and Gaston Park with developments farther south, including River Walk and Timber Trails Park.

While portions of Gaston Park will be affected during construction, the playground, basketball pad and parking lot will remain open, according to a Nov. 9 update from town officials.

Delivery of the bridge has been delayed until January because of supply issues nationwide, according to an update at the Oct. 18 Town Council meeting.
