Auston Holleman said COVID-19 provided a boost to his grooming business, which will open in Lewisville on Oct. 26.
Auston’s Groomsmen offers services only in private rooms, which clients seemed to prefer during the pandemic, according to Holleman.
The barber shop, already established in Austin and Dallas, stems from Holleman's passion since childhood for hair.
“My barber kept messing up my hair, so I started doing my own, but it didn’t get serious until college,” he said.
Holleman said he prides himself on customer service and making connections with his clients. His business is open to every race, gender and hair texture, according to the website. Auston’s Groomsmen offers haircuts, facials, shampoos and beard sculpting. Additional services are offered by request, the website stated.
