At Tuesday's Highland Village City Council meeting, Council approved a site plan for the construction of an approximately 13,994-square-foot building for retail use at The Marketplace at Highland Village. Developers have not revealed any tenants for the new building at 2150 Village Parkway. In May, Council approved a site plan for the construction of an 8,702 square-foot medical office building for Kids First Pediatrics as well as one for the construction of a 10,500-square-foot building for retail use. Featured retailers in the shopping center include DSW, HomeGoods, La Fitness, T.J. Maxx and Walmart. The 13,994-square-foot building will be constructed behind the building that contains DSW and T.J. Maxx.
