Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with potential employers during the North Texas Job Fair on Aug. 7

The details
  • Elected officials from Lewisville, Coppell, Flower Mound, Keller and more will co-host the event with U.S. Rep. Beth Van Duyne.
  • More than 200 employers are planned to participate, Van Duyne said via Facebook. Participating businesses include Amazon, American Airlines, Target, Coppell Police Department, Dallas College and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. Attendees can also receive tips during a resume workshop.
  • The fair will take place at the Irving Convention Center from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

  • The event also includes a back to school drive starting at 11 a.m. Backpacks, school supplies and books will be distributed.
