Coppell Arts Center
The Coppell Arts Center is set to receive renovations this summer, said J.J. Ceniceros, marketing and development manager at the center.
The work includes enhancing the functionality and footprint efficiency of the center’s green room, a backstage holding area for actors and performers before they go onstage during a performance, Ceniceros said.
The bulk of the remodel involves expanding the hallway to create an open-air lounge area for performers to occupy during performances. Further enhancements will include adding a stage video monitor feed as well as the creation of dedicated food and beverage storage areas. Arts Center staff are actively coordinating with Coppell city officials and facilities staff to establish a concrete renovation timeline, but Cineceros said the work is anticipated to complete this before the end of summer.
“The renovation will greatly enhance the experience and usability of the green room space for its users by providing a more dynamic space to fit the current and anticipated needs of the arts center's resident companies, rental clients, staff and employees,” he said.
