Ascension Coffee, a Dallas-based craft coffee company, opened its seventh and “most unique” location in the Casa Linda neighborhood Feb. 18.

Located at 9353 Garland Road, the new coffee shop was converted from the former White Rock Community Church chapel. The building features vaulted and beamed ceilings, arched windows and ornate chandeliers.

The coffee shop is intended to serve as a gathering place for the White Rock community, according to a post from the company’s Facebook page. Ascension Coffee cafes are meant to provide a “stress-free and inviting atmosphere,” according to the company website.

Ascension Coffee’s menu includes a variety of coffee and tea drinks, wines, and food items, including sandwiches, salads and pastries.

The company has two other cafés in Dallas, plus locations in Addison, Coppell, Frisco and Fort Worth. 214-778-1443 https://ascension.coffee
