RM 12:20 Bistro, located in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas, will close Feb. 15.
The eatery has been in business for over four years at 9850 Walnut Hill Lane, Ste. 305.
In a Facebook post, owner Erin Willis cited the state of the economy, competition with “deep pocket” restaurants and lack of weekend traffic as reasons for the closure. In December 2022, she had asked her clientele to rally behind the bistro because the combined effects of COVID-19, unbearable heat, supply chain issues and inflation left her in need of help.
“RM 12:20 Bistro was always centered around family and community,” Willis wrote in a statement about the closure on the restaurant’s website. “Thank you to those that enjoyed a meal with us, treated our team as family and celebrated our milestones alongside us.”
The bistro served French cuisine with a “Southern flair,” including Chicken Paillard and Banana Crepes Suzette. It will be accepting reservations until Valentine’s Day, according to its website. 214-238-2919. www.rm1220bistro.com
