A sign located next to Roanoke City Hall shows a rendering of the new site that will be constructed on a 0.9-acre lot. The two-story building will be 13,000 square feet and will offer retail and commercial offices on the first floor and additional office space on the second floor. The building's design will mirror the American National Bank & Trust buildings in downtown Fort Worth and Denton. Prior to the bank’s construction, American National will open a loan production office at 409 N. Oak St., Ste., 200, Roanoke, with an expected opening date in October. The Roanoke location is set to have seven employees.
“Roanoke is centrally located and represents a good location for American National, which currently has Dallas-Fort Worth locations in Fort Worth, Dallas, Flower Mound and Denton,” said Hogan Page, the bank's Roanoke Market President of commercial lending, in a statement. “The team of bankers that will represent the bank in this location have all previously worked in downtown Roanoke and therefore have cultivated many local relationships over the years. Our group of bankers is excited at the opportunity to get back to our work home in Roanoke.”
