The 28th annual event was held Oct. 11 and included vendors lining the street throughout North Texas for guests who attended the daylong event.

The details
There were three concert stages: Roanoke City Hall, Travis Community and Silver Spur. The headline act this year was Josh Abbott Band, a country band that was formed in the mid-2000s by Texas Tech student Josh Abbott, according to the band’s website.
What else?
The event featured a rodeo with bull riding, calf scramble and mutton bustin’ at three different times. There was also a mechanical bull to ride, a petting zoo and axe throwing.
One more thing
The event featured a kid zone with free rides and bounce houses. Northwest ISD had an art show by students and students provided face paintings for guests.
