Northwest ISD’s three high schools—Byron Nelson, V.R. Eaton and Northwest—will host homecoming games and festivities throughout September and October, with several family-friendly events available throughout the week of each game.

Northwest High School

According to a district news release, Northwest High School in Justin kicks off the fall calendar with three events starting next week:
  • Homecoming parade: 6 p.m. Sept. 13. The parade will begin in the east parking lot at Northwest High School and end at Northwest ISD Stadium. A community pep rally will follow the parade, and the pep rally will conclude with a fireworks show sponsored by the NHS Student Council.
  • Homecoming game: 7 p.m. Sept. 15 at Northwest ISD Stadium. The NHS homecoming king and queen will be crowned at halftime.
  • Homecoming dance: 8-11 p.m. Sept. 16 at the NHS student union
Byron Nelson High School

The news release states that Byron Nelson High School in Trophy Club will host all three of its homecoming events during the third week of September. The events include:
  • Homecoming parade: 6:15 p.m. Sept. 20. The parade will begin and end on Bobcat Boulevard. west of the BNHS campus and proceed through portions of the surrounding neighborhoods. A community pep rally will follow the parade at the BNHS football field.
  • Homecoming game: 7 p.m. Sept. 22. The BNHS homecoming king and queen will be crowned before the game. An exact time of the crowning is yet to be determined.
  • Homecoming dance: 8-11 p.m. Sept. 23 at BNHS
Eaton High School

Eaton High School in Haslet will host its homecoming events during the first week in October, according to the news release. The events include:
  • Homecoming parade: 6 p.m. Oct. 4. Spectators should park in the athletic lot off of Willow Springs Road on the west side of campus. The community pep rally will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the parade at the EHS football field. The homecoming king and queen will be crowned during the grand finale of the pep rally.
  • Homecoming game: 7 p.m. Oct. 6. The EHS homecoming king and queen will be recognized before the game.
  • Homecoming dance: 7-10 p.m. Oct. 7 at EHS
