After a little more than a year in business, Anderson Distillery & Grill is moving from Roanoke to a new location.

The restaurant that was at 400 S. Oak St., Ste 100, served a blend of craft foods and microdistilled spirits. Its small-batch spirits focus on using Texas-sourced products, according to the website. The menu featured a variety of grilled entrees seasoned with a homemade, coffee-infused seasoning called Joe’s Rub, its proprietary meat rub featuring coffee, salt, pepper, sugar and other spices, General Manager Corey Anderson said.

Anderson; his father, Jay Anderson; and Andrew Frank opened the Roanoke location July 22, 2022.

The location closed Aug. 13 and is moving to a new, larger location in Denton, according to its Facebook page. The new location will be at 410 N. Bell Ave. and open later this fall, according to business.
