Little Lilly Sushi will be opening its second location in Keller at 1004 Keller Parkway, Ste. 106, this summer, according to its Facebook page. The restaurant’s first location opened in October 2012 at 6100 Camp Bowie Blvd., Ste. 12, Fort Worth.

The menu encompasses a variety of Japanese favorites, including sushi; sashimi; classic rolls, such as lump crab California and shrimp tempura; and signature rolls, such as Devil's Breath, which features ghost pepper-seasoned tuna and asparagus topped with habanero-infused masago and sriracha. Starters include miso soup, edamame and tuna towers. Bento boxes that feature chicken, wagyu beef, shrimp, sashimi and nigiri are served during lunch hours. Rounding out the menu is an extensive list of chef creations and specials that include Tako Sunomono, a dish that has boiled octopus, pickled cucumber, wakame seaweed and sweet vinegar dressing, and the Tiradito Roll, which brings together sea scallop marinated in lime juice, aji amarillo paste and cucumber topped with shiso, snapper and Peruvian peppers. A full spectrum of sake, wine, beer and soft drinks is also available.

Little Lilly Sushi's name was inspired by owner Chih "Danny" Liu’s granddaughter. Originally from Taiwan, Liu first spent several years cooking traditional Chinese/Taiwanese cuisine before making the jump into Japanese cuisine, according to the company's website. Before opening Little Lilly Sushi, Liu worked in many sushi restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. www.littlelillysushi.com
