The Kalla, an event venue for a variety of celebrations, is opening in Keller this year.

The Kalla will offer space for weddings, corporate events, trade shows, quinceañeras, Bar Mitzvahs and more. Representatives of the venue create custom quotes tailored to the details of every occasion.

The Kalla is located in the venue formerly known as Chandon Arbors. Keller officials spoke about the change during a City Council work session Oct. 7.

"It's just nice that somebody else has purchased [the space] and they're going to have more events there," Ana Erwin, the assistant director of economic development, said.
