During the Celebrate Southlake event Sept. 6, owners and Southlake residents Polly and Haven Brady had a booth to promote their plumbing business, which opened Sept. 8.
The details
Services provided include plumbing, drain, gas line work, water heaters, and water filtration and softeners, according to their website.
The coverage area for the company will include Keller, Southlake, Westlake, Trophy Club, Colleyville, Grapevine, North Richland Hills and Flower Mound, said Polly Brady, who is the CEO of the company.
Work provided can be residential or commercial, Brady said. One of the first service calls was replacing 1,000 feet of gas lines in a local church. The company has three vans and four additional employees. Brady said there are two RMPs, or responsible master plumbers, a journeyman plumber and a general manager.
The background
Brady used her experience as a homeowner and real estate investor to help create this business.
“I was really tired of the home service industry and the customer experience that I was receiving and I just wanted to make it right," Brady said. "I wanted to make it better and kind of see it from a female perspective. Our service model does have an emphasis on the female decision-maker or head of household, because nowadays, 80% of the decisions are made by the woman in the house.”
She said often phone calls went unanswered or companies didn’t show up on time during the four-hour window for service promised, or at times, never showed up at all.
“Polly Plumbing will solve every gap that I'm mentioning,” Brady said. “So, our why, and my why, is because I've been through it and I'm ready to make it better. Having control of the service model and customer experience, coupled with my background in marketing and sales operation technology, it's going to be a phenomenal experience for our clients.”
