L Makeup Institute opened Feb. 17 in Southlake Town Square at 112 State St., Ste. 200, Southlake. The institute's first class began in early June, according to a spokesperson for the school. The makeup artistry school offers eight-month degree programs that teach students beauty skills, airbrush makeup, body painting and special effects makeup. 214-446-6092. www.lmakeupinstitute.edu
