Preliminary design work will begin for the Bedford Road bridge project after Colleyville City Council approved a $313,400 contract with Halff Associates Inc., an infrastructure consulting firm, at the Feb. 3 council meeting.
The details
The project includes elevating Bedford Road out of the Little Bear Creek floodplain between Somerset Boulevard and Saddlebrook Drive.
Halff Associates will do an analysis of how Little Bear Creek water affects the road, then complete the environmental and design services needed for the project, according to city documents.
