Southlake Town Square hosted the Home for the Holidays: Christmastime in Southlake event Nov. 22. The annual event is held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving each year, according to the city website.

What happened


Streets throughout the shopping center were closed for food vendors, games for children, merchant vendors and activities.

Free Santa photos were available at Santa Village, and choirs from local elementary schools performed outside of Southlake Town Hall. Ensembles from School of Rock, North Texas Performing Arts, the Uplift Dance Project, the Cantare Performance Choir, Colleyville Covenant Christian Academy and White’s Chapel performed at Frank Edgar Cornish IV Park.

This was the 26th year of the event.


What else?

The Holiday of Lights is being held at McPherson Park. The new activity opened during this event and will run through Jan. 4, 2026, according to previous reporting.

The three-mile walking trail at the park, located at 1297 Division St., has been decorated with Christmas lights and displays for photo opportunities. The show will be open daily from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
