Carroll ISD and Grapevine-Colleyville ISD schools will remain closed Tuesday, Jan. 27. As part of the closure, any scheduled after-school activities are also canceled.

Grapevine-Colleyville ISD will close all schools and facilities on Monday, Jan. 26 due to inclement weather, according to the district's website. All scheduled practices and activities are also canceled. The district said in a Facebook post the closure does not impact the iUniversity Prep staff or student schedules.

All Carroll ISD schools will be closed Jan. 26 due to expected freezing temperatures in Tarrant County, according to the district.
All after-school and weekend activities have also been cancelled through Jan. 26, the message from the district states.
Carroll ISD's school board meeting, previously scheduled for Jan. 26 has been delayed to Feb. 2, District Executive Communications Director Jeff Brady said.
He also said district officials will determine whether or not to open schools Jan. 27 at a later time.

With freezing temperatures expected to hit Dallas-Fort Worth this weekend, Carroll ISD and Grapevine-Colleyville ISD school schedules will be affected by the cold weather.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch from Jan. 23-25 and an extreme cold watch for Denton and Tarrant counties from Jan. 24-26, with temperatures forecast to drop to 9 degrees by 8 a.m. Monday morning in Tarrant County. The forecast also shows freezing rain and sleet will hit the counties over the weekend.
