The construction of the new Hampton Inn & Home2 Suites By Hilton is scheduled to start Oct. 1, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

According to the filing, construction of the new dual-brand hotel will cost $14 million. The hotel will be five stories, have 201 rooms, two outdoor flex spaces, a large outdoor pool and lounge space, full-service gym facilities, a spa and wellness center and an elevated food and beverage program, according to previous Community Impact reporting.
Construction is expected to be completed by Feb, 1, 2027, the filing states.
