Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake all saw their populations increase by at least 18% from 2010-19.

Data released by the U.S. Census Bureau on May 21 estimates Grapevine’s population increased by 18.6% from 2010-19.

Colleyville’s population increased by 18.29%, and Southlake’s increased by 21.43%.

In 2019, Grapevine’s population was estimated to be 55,281. Colleyville’s was estimated to be 27,091, and Southlake’s was 32,376.

Data is currently being collected for the 2020 census. As of May 13, nearly two-thirds of Frisco households had completed the once-in-a-decade questionnaire.


As of May 18, Colleyville outpaced Grapevine and Southlake in the 2020 response rates, with a total of 81.5% of residents responding. Grapevine residents' responses came in at 67.1%, and Southlake residents came in at 76.5%. The statewide response rate thus far is 54.2%.
