The city of Colleyville is looking for developers at a city-owned property site at SH. 26 and Acuff Lane.

According to the city’s March 4 newsletter, the city put up a “for sale” sign on the southern Colleyville property. Colleyville is “actively marketing” the 6-acre site for development.

Assistant City Manager Adrienne Lothery said the city anticipates the area will be used for restaurant or retail use, “particularly on the SH 26 frontage.”

The property is part of the city’s purchase of land at Colleyville’s southern gateway, Lothery said. The city bought the acreage in 2021 to control the development of those areas to boost economic growth.

Colleyville officials asked residents to help spread the word about the property for sale and to call Assistant City Manager Mark Wood at 817-503-1117 for inquiries.

“We encourage anyone who is interested in possible commercial uses to reach out to discuss,” Lothery said.
