Grapevine City Council, through a unanimous vote on Feb. 15, approved the first reading of the permit for Wash Your Stuff-Grapevine, an eight-bay car wash with another location in Keller. With the approval, the car wash is closer to retrofitting one of its bays into a touch-free automatic car wash bay, city of Grapevine officials said during the meeting.
The car wash focuses not only on providing a self-service car wash experience at the lowest cost, but also encourages guests to bring their truck bed, fenders, boats, recreational vehicles, motorcycles, and more, according to the car wash's website.
City Council still needs to pass a second and final reading before the permit can be officially approved. That reading is scheduled for March 15.
