Dan’s Bagels now offers an assortment of bagels at its Grapevine location.

The grab-and-go shop serves made-from-scratch sourdough bagel flavors, including plain, sesame seed, salt, garlic salt, rosemary salt and cinnamon sugar crunch.Galaxy Skate


Ashley Reed opened the doors to Galaxy Skate right before Thanksgiving and held a grand opening Dec. 6.

Galaxy Skate offers roller skating, mixing in nostalgia with old and new music and a disco ball in the middle of the skating rink. Skaters can choose either traditional skates with four wheels or inline skates.

Galaxy Skate offers adult night skating on Tuesday, from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., according to a Facebook post. The business features an arcade, VR rooms, karaoke rooms and a soft play area to complement the skating experience, according to its website.New Song School of Arts

New Song School of the Arts has opened its second location in Southlake.


Founded 26 years ago in Lewisville and serving the Argyle community for the past 13 years, New Song School of the Arts is owned by Heather and Todd Parks. Their newest campus is located inside Southlake Baptist Church and is open on Thursdays.

New Song offers private lessons in various instruments—including piano, voice, guitar, percussion, strings, woodwinds and brass—as well as theater in several mediums, according to previous reporting.Primark

Primark sells clothing, shoes and accessories for men, women and children. Styles include dresses, shirts, pants, tops, hoodies and jackets, according to its website. The store currently has a collaboration with Disney for some of its products.

The Grapevine location is the fourth store to open in Texas, with the other three in Houston, El Paso and McAllen.

A Southlake hotel, Delta Hotels by Marriott Dallas Southlake, celebrated its fifth anniversary in late November.

After nearly five years in the Park Village shopping center, Spruce Home + Closet has a new location in Southlake off North Carroll Avenue.

The Grapevine location opened Aug. 16, 2024, according to previous reporting.

A lockout sign on the door of the now-California-based company, dated Nov. 24, states the closure was caused by unpaid rent.

IKEA Plan and Order Point

The store, which opened in 2023, offers kitchen, bedroom and bathroom solutions and allows customers to book an appointment with an IKEA planner to design products and arrange for delivery, according to previous reporting.

Customers who have a current kitchen, room, or business planning project open at IKEA Southlake can complete it before the store closes or switch it over to any other IKEA store or online with a remote planner, a news release states.
