Solidcore, a workout studio, is now open in Southlake Town Square.

Trainers at the business provide a high-intensity, low-impact full-body workout on a pilates-inspired reformer. Core workout utilizes slow and controlled movements designed to break down muscles to failure so they build back stronger, according to the company's website. Workouts are 50 minutes, the website states.

According to a company representative, classes started Sept. 19. The store had originally planned to open in the summer of 2025, according to previous Community Impact reporting.

There are 13 other Solidcore locations in Texas, with three in Dallas and one in Plano, according to the company's website. The Southlake location fills a spot that formerly housed The Ginger Man and Cowtown Brewery. The location has been vacant since Cowtown Brewery closed June 24, 2023. According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations, the spot underwent $350,000 in renovations.

Bonsai Matcha representatives posted on Facebook that the business would be at the Solidcore grand opening celebration Oct. 11-12 in Southlake.
