Red Dirt Cellars, formerly Sloane & Williams Winery, now serves Texas-grown wine in Grapevine

Sloan & Williams Winery in Grapevine is now Red Dirt Cellars.

What happened?

Landon Winery president Bob Landon said they purchased the business in February 2025, but the official renaming and rebranding of the winery in downtown happened in July. During the summer, painting, light work and new furniture have been added to the location.

The winery serves Texas-grown wines with a little extra swagger, according to its Facebook page. The updated labels for the winery include Red Dirt Cellars, Pinnacle and Wildcatter.

The backstory

Landon Winery has a location at 415 S. Main St. in Grapevine. There are additional locations in McKinney, Wylie, Cypress Waters and Greenville, according to its website.

Officials from the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau said that Landon Winery is the ninth-largest winery in the state.

According to previous reporting, Sloan & Williams Winery opened in the summer of 2015.
