The backstory
As Community Impact previously reported, the restaurant specializes in dishes from the Balkan region in Europe as well as American fare such as cheese tortellini and steaks.
Popular Balkan menu items are cevapi, a Balkan beef sausage dish served with fresh lepinja bread; and sarma, which is ground beef- and rice-stuffed cabbage served over mashed potatoes.
Balkan Garden Bistro opened in March 2023.
