Cambria Hotel Southlake has been renamed The Southlake Hotel as of Feb. 1. That name will be temporary as the hotel will undergo renovations in 2024 and will become The Elmore Hotel in 2025.

The property was acquired by New Crest Image Capital Advisors in June 2022, according to previous Community Impact reporting. The new owners are transitioning from being part of Choice Hotels to being part of Marriott's White Label luxury hotels, said Danny Patel, New Crest Image managing partner. He spoke to Southlake City Council during the Feb. 6 meeting about the hotel. The company had its request for a new sign approved.

Built in 2016, the hotel is 6 miles from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and features 175 rooms, an outdoor pool and game area, a fitness center, a business center, a convenience store, a casual lounge, and a fine-dining restaurant, according to the website. All rooms offer amenities for guests, including a mini-fridge and a 55-inch flat-screen television.

Patel said the hotel will undergo renovations this fall with an estimated completion in the spring of 2025. He said plans include adding restaurant space, relocating the bar and upgrading rooms. When completed, the hotel will be a Tribute Portfolio Collection hotel with Marriott, according to Patel. The property is managed by Coury Hospitality, which manages Hotel Vin in Grapevine.
