Frisco transportation update: City begins designing pedestrian plaza on Fourth Street

Design is underway for a planned pedestrian plaza on Fourth Street in downtown Frisco. The plaza, to be located between Main and Elm streets, is part of a downtown master plan that includes new development and road improvements. During construction, the Fourth Street plaza would be closed off to traffic to allow for pedestrian access to shops and urban living.

Timeline: September 2019-September 2021 (design and planning), October 2021-TBD (construction)


Cost: $2.6 million
